Hi, I'm Zen.
Chasing islands, sunsets and good Wi-Fi.
I’m a full-time remote worker from Indonesia, living and working in Bali. I write about nomad life, remote work and my plan to reach FIRE, one honest story at a time.

From the journal
New stories from the road.
I write when something real happens: a lesson from work, a place that helped, a week when the plan felt slow.

The song that brought me to Bali
A Moment Apart by ODESZA made me want to travel, create and share the places I love. It’s still the soundtrack of this life.

About Zen
A digital nomad who followed a song.
There is one song that always brings me back. A Moment Apart by ODESZA.
Long before Bali, that music made me imagine a life of travel: to explore, to create, and to share the places I love. My remote work started with my own small VA business, and grew into a full-time remote role.
Today Bali is my home base. On weekdays I work from cafés in Canggu. On free days I chase islands, viewpoints and sunsets, and write it all down here.
Things I made along the way
Small guides, if you need them.
Some readers asked for the full steps, so I wrote them down. No pressure. The stories here will always be free.
